Max Dread The Pinx are really settled into their thing here, but still finding plenty of fresh material to work. In the pocket, but bringing the rock. Tight and polished, but not uptight. Perfect EP construction. Opening and closing tracks with a power pop flavor bookend three big rock songs that feel like AC/DC and fast-tempo Deep Purple filtered through Detroit and then Atlanta. Repeated listens reveal gems hidden in the mix. Worth purchasing and downloading a hi-def copy. Favorite track: Bad Behavior.
